Ministry of Oil calls citizens to buy cooking gas from official stations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Oil denied rumors about “A crisis in the liquid gas of cooking and invited the citizens to buy it from the official stations not from the street vendors.”

A source in the Ministry stated to IraqiNews.com “The prices adopted by the ministry are stable and there is no any raise in prices,” noting that “There are some corrupted people who exploit Ramadan to create such crises.”

The source called the citizens “To buy this material from the official stations and not to encourage promoters of this false news,”

The past few days witnessed obvious rise in the prices of the cooking gas where the price of the cylinder reached IQD 15,000 after it was 6,000.
