Ministry of Oil increases pumping liquid gas for actual need
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Oil Ministry denied the recent rumors about shortage in liquid gas, confirming the rise in “the produced amounts to reach 120,000 cylinders per day.”
The Director General of Gas Filling Company, Hamid Yunis Saleh, said “The official Gas stations will work throughout the days of Eid al-Fitr to provide the citizens with liquid gas by IQD 4,000 for each cylinder, and offer better services to them.”
Noting that “The Company has increased pumping the cooking gas in Baghdad during the past days up to 120,000 cylinders per day, while what is actually consumed is only 60,000 cylinders per day.”
It is worth to mention that Baghdad witnessed over the past few days unrecorded rise in the selling price of liquid gas whereas the actual price of single cylinder does not exceed IQD 5,000.
