MoHC carries out maternity hospital in Maysan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Housing and Construction announced “The implementation of the maternity Hospital project in Maysan province at total cost of IQD eight billions and 34 millions.

The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The work is in progress to erect the hospital which involves three floors, eight halls of surgical operations, emergency room, radiology centers, advisory clinics, new born babies department, blood bank, services building, water networks and physiotherapy centers.”

Maysan province suffers from an obvious shortage in the number of hospitals and governmental medical institutions as well as the lack in the medical cadres which forced the province to contract with Indian doctors and nurses to work at the hospitals of the province.” \
