MoP, MP from Dhi-Qar discuss development mechanisms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Planning and Development met MP Abdul Hussein Resan, the member of the Economy and Investment Parliamentary Committee from Dhi-Qar province and they discussed the mechanisms of implementing the poverty alleviation strategy in Iraq and particularly in Dhi-Qar province.The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com “The meeting included discussing the situation of services provided for citizens in Dhi-Qar province and the means of accelerating implementing the investment projects which contribute in improving the health and education levels in the province.””The two sides agreed to conduct a final review for the strategy before submitting it for endorsement,” the statement added.”The Government allocated IQD (40) billion for Dhi-Qar province within the strategy plan of 2013 and the suitable mechanisms will be set to distribute it on the deprived areas,” the statement concluded. \END\
