MP assures performing strategy to eliminate poverty in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member in the Parliamentary Committee for Economy and Investment, Abdul Abbas Shiya, emphasized that “The Anti-poverty strategy will reduce the poverty rate in the country from 23% to 16% in 2014.”

He said in a statement to IraqiNews.com “The Central Commission for reducing poverty still continues holding its meetings where the Government allocated IQD 100 billion to support the performance of the Commission in fighting poverty in Iraq.”

Shiya called “The in cahrge authorities will adopt practical measures to fight poverty and provide jobs for poor people.”
