Parking lot built, agriculture road soon in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A local company on Saturday completed a project to build a parking lot in Karbala, while work has begun on another project to set up an agricultural road in the east of the province, according to a local official. “The parking lot has cost 376 million Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar= 1,118 Iraqi dinars) and was financed through the investment budget of the Ministry of Municipalities,” Engineer Mushtaaq Abdelabbas al-Jalihawi told IraqiNews.com news agency. The cost of the other project is 222 million ID, the official noted, adding that its estimated completion period is six months.
