Resan: Ministry of Trade fails in providing Ration Card foodstuffs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Economic and Investment Parliamentary Committee, Abdul Hussien Resan, criticized the performance of the Ministry of Trade accusing it of being failed in providing the Ration Card foodstuffs by working away from the parliament.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There disputes within the Ministry over who holds the responsibility of making the decision concerning the Ration Card.”

“The Ministry of Trade has many tasks while currently most of its efforts devoted to the issue of the Ration Card,” he added.

“There are many issues within the Ministry like the corruption cases, the expired materials stored in the storages of the Ministry and the delay of the Ration Card for about 5 to 6 months,” he concluded.
