Rice stock enough for two months – MOT

BAGHDAD, Sept. 21 (Iraqi News) – The Iraqi Ministry of Trade (MOT) on Sunday said that it has a stock of rice enough for two months’ consumption nationwide, according to a release issued by the National Information Center. “The MOT had no problem or delay in providing rice throughout Iraq,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com – Voices of Iraq – (Iraqi News). “Rice shipments have arrived in the southern ports, which shows the successful importing plans and policies to make rice available on the Iraqi markets,” it added.
