Rural roads implemented in Missan

Iraq-Roads MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A governmental company on Tuesday started implementing a number of rural roads in Missan at a total cost of 1.8 billion Iraqi dinars, the director of the Missan roads and bridges department said. “Asshour company of the reconstruction ministry today began implementing a number of rural roads at a total length of 100km in separate areas of the province,” Mohamed Jaseb told IraqiNews.com. “The project is due to be completed in three months,” he noted. Missan is a Shiite province. Its capital city is al-Amara. Sitting on the Tigris River, Amara lies 390 km south of Baghdad. Missan, in the east of the country, bordering Iran, is home to many marsh Arabs. SH (P)/SR 1
