Saad demands to increase Basra share of free fuel

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Oil and Energy parliamentary committee demanded to increase the share of Basra of free gasoil which is used in operating the governmental and private sector electricity generators.

Al-Saad mentioned in statement to IraqiNews.com that “I demand the Ministry of Oil and the Commission of Oil Products Distribution to increase the share of Basra province from the free fuel from 2200 leters daily to 3000 leters.”

The statement added that “Basra Provincial Council has allocated IQD 12 billion and the rest of the fund can be paid from the share of the province of petrodollar revenues.”

The Ministry of Oil started, through the Directorate of Oil products Distribution, distributing free fuel which is used in operating the governmental and private sector electricity generators.
