Service projects in Halabja at $41.8 million

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A total of $41.8 million U.S. dollars has been allocated for service projects in Halabja district in 2009, the head of the district’s municipality said on Wednesday. “The projects include the registration of all houses and real estate properties with the real estate registry office,” Khadr Kareem told IraqiNews.com news agency. Three committees have been set up for this purpose, Kareem added. The projects also include the construction of a road linking the center of the city to the Martyrs’ Cemetery.
