Symposium to discuss sesame production in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A symposium was held on Thursday to discuss methods to expand sesame production in Karbala, said a member of an agricultural committee in the province. “The symposium, organized by the agricultural office of al-Kherat district, 23 km east of Karbala, was attended by several farmers and officials,” Ali Wadi al-Greti told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The event issued several recommendations as to develop ways to expand sesame cultivation,” he added.
