Turkish firms to set up investment ventures in Karbala
KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A consortium of Turkish firms on Thursday held talks with local government officials in Karbala to consider establishing investment ventures there, according to the governor. “A delegation representing Turkish firms had a round of talks with the local administration to consider launching a number of projects in the province,” Amaleddin Majeed al-Hirr told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The delegation expressed a wish to carry out a power station feeding the province and a housing compound project of dozens units with the objective of alleviating the housing problem there,” he added.
