U.S. companies invited to invest in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Karbala’s investment commission on Saturday called on the U.S. embassy in Iraq to encourage American companies to invest and to bring in advanced technologies to the province, said the commission’s media spokesperson. “We also want them to hold training programs for the commission’s staff,” Raid al-Asali told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A delegation from the embassy and the U.S. Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) visited the province to reinforce mutual cooperation between the two sides,” he added.
