Wassit’s oil products branch receives 19 fuel tanks
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The Oil Products Branch in Wassit province received on Sunday the 19th new tanks to carry oil derivatives to the al-Kut warehouses, according to the branch director. “The tanks were imported for the oil ministry to carry oil products from Iraqi refineries to the Kut warehouses,” Ahmed Saleh told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The branch thus has a total of 54 tanks to carry oil derivatives from all Iraqi refineries and unload them at the al-Karidiya warehouses in eastern Kut,” said Saleh, adding the province of Wassit is working on providing 10 provinces with oil products from its warehouses. Wassit’s actual daily needs of oil derivatives hit 750,000 liters of benzene, 16,000 liters of gas oil and 500,000 liters of kerosene.
