White Bloc demand to build houses for poor people

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc demanded to allocate IQD (500) million to build houses for the poor people, threatening not to vote for the complementary budget of current year if its demand was not met.

MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White Bloc reported in a press statement to IraqiNews.com that ”The federal budget of the current year has failed to achieve justice for poor and deprived people in some provinces especially Salah-il-Din, Anbar, Diwaniya, Wassit and Babel.”

He added that ”The WB will not participate in causing further harm or damage for these families and we will declare our attitude so clear by not voting on the complementary budget if the fund was not allocated for building houses for poor people in the provinces.”
