Hundreds protest in Baghdad to improve services

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Hundreds of citizens went to street on Sunday protesting the lack of services in northeastern Baghdad, a security source said. “Around 3,000 persons went to streets this morning in al-Shaab region, northeastern Baghdad, calling for improving services like electricity and ration cards,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The protest was peaceful and demanded the resign of the municipality council,” he explained.
