JFO mourns 2 journalists killed in Tikrit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Journalistic Freedom Observatory (JFO) mourned on Wednesday two journalists, who were killed yesterday in the attack made by gunmen on Salah al-Din council. “One of the suicide bombers entered the reporters’ room in the Salah al-Din council and blew himself up, killing Sabah al-Bazi and injuring the cameraman of al-Fayhaa channel, Saad Khaled,” the JFO said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The 30-year-old is married and has three children and he is one of activists working with the JFO,” the statement added. Meanwhile, the al-Ain media agency informed the JFO that its reporter, Muaamar Khudier Abdulwahed, was killed in the same incident.
