30,000 Arab, foreign visitors arrive at Najaf Airport

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Najaf International Airport announced arrival of 30,000 Arab and foreign visitors through the airport to do the rituals of Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

The media director of the Airport, Rahim al-Khafaji, reported to IraqiNews.com Friday “The number of flights landing in the Airport from Arab and foreign countries reached 75 flights daily with about 30,000 visitors.”

“This number represents the climax for the number of flights landing in the Airport during this occasion,” Khafaji added, noting that “A plane coming from Syria landed in the airport at 12 A.M. of Thursday night.”
