30 new electricity stations join service in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Director General of Najaf Electricity Distribution Directorate Numan al-Mihanna assured on Monday “Accomplishing works on 30 new electricity distribution stations order to reduce burden on the old electricity grid in Najaf province.”

Mihanna stated to IraqiNews.com “Najaf Electricity Distribution Directorate accomplished 30 stations distributed as ten stations on the northern neighborhoods of Najaf city, seven on southern neighborhoods, seven stations on the old city in Najaf, four stations on Abbasiya district and two others in Haidariya district.”

“These stations will reduce the intense performance of the old distribution electricity stations and meet the increasing demand on power in Najaf,” he added, noting that “Ten more stations are under construction in different areas of Najaf province.” /End/
