200 Iraqis participate in World Youth Day celebrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US embassy in Baghdad announced that “Nearly 200 Iraqi pilgrims from Baghdad have gone to Brazil to join Pope Francis for his visit to the Catholic Church’s World Youth Day celebrations.”

The US embassy posted this photo on the Facebook and said “This young pilgrim adjusts the Iraqi flag on Copacabana Beach before the start of opening ceremonies for World Youth Day celebrations in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.”
