150 families return to their houses in Saidya, Diyali

Diyali (IraqiNews.com) The governor of Diyali province, Amer al-Majmaei, stated on Monday, that 150 displaced families have returned to their houses in al-Saidiya, noting that other groups are going to follow them within the next few days.

Al-Majmaei informed IraqiNews, “150 displaced families have returned to their houses in the district of al-Saidiya, located 60 km northeast of Baqubah,” pointing out that, “Their return came after the security forces secured the area and lifted all the explosives and mines which were planted in the area.”

“Other groups are going to return to their houses in the next few days according to a plan set with the security forces,” he added.
