 48,000 Iraqi displaced families return to Anbar

Displaced families have returned to their liberated areas in Ramadi.

116 displaced families have returned to their liberated areas in the provinces of Anbar and Diyala.

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced that 48,257 families have returned to their homes in Anbar Province.

Ministry spokesman, in a statement, said, “48,257 displaced families of Anbar have returned to their districts and neighborhoods in the province. This includes the return of 35,820 families to Ramadi, 6043 families to Heet, 1407 families to Rutba, 1387 families to Khalidiya and 3600 families to Karma Fallujah.”

The statement added, “The success of the liberation battles have contributed to the return of the displaced families to their homes.”
