Diwaniya Local Government sends critical medical cases to Najaf hospitals

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) Diwaniya Governor Ammar al-Madani assured on Sunday that “The local government in Diwaniya is responsible for transporting the critical medical cases from Diwaniya province by ambulances to be treated at the private clinics in Najaf province on the cost of Diwaniya local government.

Governor Madani stated to IraqiNews.com “Closing the private clinics of the doctors in Diwaniya and their insistence to punish the patients who should not be involved in the conflict between the doctors and the local government is indecent behavior.”

He added “Diwaniya local government provided enough ambulances to transfer the patients and treat them in Najaf clinics and private hospitals on the cost of the government.”

Earlier, on Sunday morning, the doctors syndicate staged a sit -in near Diwaniya Educational Hospital and decided to close their private clinics until the governor of Diwaniya present an apology for them for describing them as “Traders of Blood.” /End/
