Diyala Co. contract with Austrian Co. to develop electricity power production

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Diyal General Company for Electric Industries within the Ministry of Industry concluded a contract with an Austrian Company to produce new generations of optical cables.

The Detector Aide of the Company, Zaid Shakir Naser, pointed out “The Company seeks to establish new production lines such as the power transformer line type, (Stack core), also it signed a contact with Roosendaal Austrian Company to produce the modern generation of the optical cables to meet the needs of the Ministry of Telecommunications.”

Naser stressed “The increase of the production capacities of the Company during 2011 to reach 1803 MVA which equals 5500 power distribution transformer of different capacities if compared with 289 MVA during 2007.”

“Diyala Co. proceeded since 2007 to rehabilitate its old plants through making use of the financial allocations within the investment plans of those years to develop the production energy and increase the financial returns,” he added
