Festival of Iraqi Press Day starts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The celebration of the Iraqi Press Day started in Baghdad with attendance of the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and participation of official delegations from Arab and foreign countries as well as Iraqi journalists. The festival witnessed participation of Ministries, Parliamentarians, officials besides journalists, artists, and politicians from more than 50 Arab ad foreign States. The agenda of the ceremony includes media, cultural, and artistic activities, and professional workshops on journalism, laws related to the rights of the journalists and the risks of the journalistic work in the dangerous workplaces in addition to the laws concerning the freedom of expression.
