Financial fines imposed on activities in Baghdad
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Environment fined a number of medical and service activities associated to the Health Ministry and Baghdad Mayorship for violating the environmental obligations.
A statement by the Ministry quoted the Spokesperson of the Ministry, Amir Ali al-Hasoun as saying “The Fines Commission within the Environment Protection and Improvement Department imposed monthly financial fines that exceed IQD 4 million per month on those activities.”
“These legal proceedings came because of those utilities’ non-commitment to the official warnings which have been issued previously by the Ministry of Environment in Baghdad and the provinces,” the statement added.
