(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Temperatures of five Iraqi regions crossed half the boiling point in the last 24 hours and were recorded as the hottest places in the world.

Placerville station in California published a table of the highest temperatures in the world during the past 24 hours and the table shows that five Iraqi regions reached a temperature of more than half of the boiling point.

The table pointed out that Mitribah (Kuwaiti) has been ranked at the top with a temperature of 52.7 degrees Celsius, while the airport area has was ranked the second with a temperature of 51.7 degrees Celsius and Al-Hussein in Basra was ranked fourth with a temperature record of 51.4 degree Celsius.
