Former MoH&S commit to payback unlawful spending funds

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that “The central integrity committee decided to oblige the former minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abed Thyab al-Ajeli, to returne all the funds which he spent unlawfully in furnishing his house while he was the Minister of Higher Education.”The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The committee, which was formed according to the law article no. (1) of 2006 in accordance with the instructions no. (3) of 2007, commit the former minister to payback all the funds that he spent for furnishing his house.””The former minister spent about IQD (502,970,000) on renovating and furnishing his house while he was the minister of higher education and scientific research,” the statement added.
