House of Representatives to consider reduction in state budget, says Jubouri

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, the head of the House of Representatives, Salem al-Jubouri said that the Board will take into consideration the government’s plans of reduction in the state budget, as long as it does not neglect the poor and the working class and the salaries of the people and their rights and interests, pointing out that the budget discussion is nearing completion in the House of Representatives.

Jubouri said in a speech during the anniversary of founding of the Dawa Party, followed by IraqiNews.com, “The budget is nearing completion in the House of Representatives,” noting that, “The government’s plans of reduction will be taken into consideration.”

Al-Jubouri also said that the investment needs an environment to have its merchantability,” asking Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and the ministers to “submit legislation on this matter.”
