ICPI assigns (1590) corruption case to judiciary

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Commission of Public Integrity announced that it has assigned during the first third of this year (1590) financial corruption cases to the judiciary with total sums of (IQD 451) billion. A statement by the ICPI cited “The Investigation Offices of the ICPI achieved during the last April the highest percentage in completing the investigation transactions of the corruption cases and brought those in charge of these practices to the justice.” “The statistics of the Legal Directorate within the ICPI, achieved obvious progress in the performance of the investigation offices in most provinces,” the statement concluded.
