IHEC fine five political parties for violating conditions of electoral propaganda

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announcing fining five political parties for violating the conditions of the electoral propaganda of the provincial councils elections in Iraq.

The head of the Electoral Department within the IHEC, Muqdad al-Shiraifi, stated in a press statement on Monday “The IHEC fined five political parties with financial amount from five to 30 IQD Million.”

“Another list of the contravener parties will be announced within the next 24 hours,” he added.

“There will be strict measures for those parties in case they repeat the violations,” he concluded.
