Corruption discovered in 1.5 billion IQD contract

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Integrity Commission discovered irregularities in a contract related to purchase office furniture for Rusafa Education Directorate.

The official spokesperson of the Integrity Commission, Hassan Karim, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The committee discovered that the furniture purchased according to contract, which values IQD .,5 billion, violate the specifications and certificate of origin of the contract.”

”The investigation is ongoing over the contract,” the statement concluded.
