Karbala PC uses caravans as schools

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The Local Government in Karbala province has allocated IQD(2) billion to buy caravans and turns them into schools to solve the lack in the school buildings in the province.

The Deputy Chairman of the Construction Committee in Karbala Provincial Council, Tariq al-Khelani, reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday ”The provincial council in Karbala province decided to allocate two billion IQD to buy (150) caravans to be used as school buildings due to shortage of school buildings and the rise in the number of students.”

He added that ”The Karbala PC held a meeting with the Governor Amal al-Din al-Hir at the office of the Governor in order to implement the resolution concerning buying the caravans within 30 days,” stressing that ”They decided to add ten more caravans during the meeting so the final number will be (160) caravans.”
