Karbala police closes cafés for violating heath conditions
Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The police forces of Karbala province closed some cafes and billiard halls due to the lack of the heath conditions in those places.
The Media Director of Karbala Police Department Colonel, Ahmed Mohamed Umran, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com that “Karbala Police Department in cooperation with the Directorate of Crime Combat has launched a campaign to follow up the cafés which provide shelter for drug dealers,” noting that “The campaign resulted in closing some cafes and billiard halls.”
The statement added “The shutdown resolution was based on the principle that these cafés and billiard halls did not obtain official licensees from the Mayor Office of Karbala province.”
The statement explained “The owners of the cafés and billiard halls should present written commitments over preventing drugs trafficking in order to bear the legal procedures if they violate their commitments.” /End
