Khuzai reveals involvement of Diwaniya PC members in corruption

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of Diwaniya Provincial Council Hakim al-Khuzai revealed that “Some PC members are involved in corruption case related to attempt to have ownership of houses that belong to the State.”

Khizai stated to IraqiNews.com “Some of the PC members are involved in attempt to have the ownership of houses that cost billions of IQD by paying cheap prices for these houses,” noting that “We instructed the State Properties Department to stop all the procedures related to transferring the ownership of these houses to the members of Diwaniya PC members who reside in these houses.”

He clarified “We have formed an investigation committee to reveal the involved persons in this corrupted deal, stressing that “We referred this case to the Integrity Commission to follow it up.”

“We will stop the procedures of this suspicious deal even if it costs us our lives,” he emphasized.
