Killing of expert in al-Qaeda affairs evidence for its plans to create crisis between govt. – Sahwas (Awakening) orgs, Interior Min. says
BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Interior Ministry has announced on Thursday that the killing of the expert in al-Qaeda affairs, Mulla Nazim al-Jibouri reflects al-Qaeda’s plans to strike the Sahwa (Awakening) elements and to create a crisis between them and the government, pointing out for the existence of information about massive pressure by al-Qaeda to force al-Sahwa members, who left al-Qaeda to return to the organization. “The assassination of Mulla Nazim al-Jibouri by al-Qaeda reflects al-Sahwa organization’s plan to strike the Sahwas and to create a crisis between it and the Iraqi government,” the Interior Ministry‘s 1st Undersecretary, Adnan al-Asadi told IraqiNews.com news agency, adding that “the Interior Ministry possesses information about the existence of massive pressure by the terrorist al-Qaeda organization to force al-Sahwa members to change their national position and force them back to join al-Qaeda or the so-called “Iraq’s Islamic State.” Mulla Nazm al-Jibouri, the expert in al-Qaeda affairs and the Commander of al-Sahwa in al-Dilouiya township was killed by a group of unknown armed men on Tuesday night in west Baghdad’s al-Mansour district.
