Maysan achieves highest rate in spending budget of 2012

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Maysan province, Ali Dawai Lazim, announced that “Maysan province achieved the highest rate in spending the allocations of the regions development for the current year budget.”

The Governor reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”The province spent IQD (254) billion until the end of October of the current year budget, which equals IQD 272 billion, and that represents 93% of the total regions development allocations.”

The governor pointed out ”The plan of 2013 includes projects that exceeded IQD 700 billion and will cover various services sectors,” stressing that ”Most of the projects were endorsed by the provincial council of the province and the final endorsement will be obtained during the next few days to be sent to the Ministry of Planning and Development.”

The governor confirmed ”All the allocations of the development regions budget will be spent before the end of 2012.” \
