Maysan finishes procedures of counting affected families due to floods

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) Maysan province announced completing the procedures of counting the affected families in the province due to the floods coming from Wasit province and the Iranian borders.

Maysan governor, Ali Dawai said “The commissions commissioned to count the affected families in Maysan following the floods to include them in the emergency financial grants, has ended its work.”

“The list of these families will be sent to the Council of Ministers to compensate them financially,” he added noting “The CoM allocated IQD two millions to the affected families in the cities and four millions to the affected families in the villages and countryside.”

“The affected farmers will be compensated as well,” Dawai stressed.
