Maysan honors families of police martyrs

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Police Directorate honored the families of its members who were killed during performing their duty inside or outside the province and the honoring ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the Interior Ministry, Hussein al-Asadi.

The Director of the Social Affairs Directorate of Maysan Police Department, Majed Abdul Hassan, stated to IraqiNews.com ”The police department has organized a celebration to honor the families of its members who lost their lives on the line of duty inside or outside the province,” noting that “The families received IQD (500,000) for each family.”

He added ”The police directorate continued in paying the pension salaries for the families of martyrs even those who did not complete their documents,” noting that “The honoring was intended on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.” \
