MoH&C starts developing Baghdad-Karbala road

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Housing and Construction, Mohamed al-Daraji, announced implementing the project of developing and maintaining the road connects Baghdad with Karbala with gross cost reached IQD 48 billion.Daraji reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”The Ministry is determined to upgrade Karbala-Baghdad road to be a prefect modern road in terms of rehabilitation, development since it will add a modern rest centers that accommodate many people.”He confirmed that ”The project aims to develop the road between Baghdad and Karbala by expanding the sub roads and adding traffic signs and modern rest centers as well as establishing regular security checkpoints along the road.” \
