MoHC: 80% of Army self-sufficiency project completed

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Housing and Construction declared that Mu’tasim General Company, one of the ministry’s departments, has completed 80% from the self-sufficiency project which is being implemented for the Ministry of Defense in Smeal district of Dahuk province at a cost of IQD (25) billion.

An official source in the company stated that the project was started in the beginning of 2010 for treating the ground for it is not flat as well as the existence of large proportion of water levels which required a great effort of soil excavation and burial lasted for about 4 months.

MoHC pointed out that it is implementing several self-sufficiency projects concerning the Iraqi Army in a number of provinces such as, Sulaiymania, Diyala, Baghdad, Nineveh and Dhi Qar.
