MoHC rehabilitates Sayedat al-Najat Church in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Housing and Construction, Mohamed Saheb al-Daraji, inspected on the ground the project of rehabilitating Sayedat al-Najat Church in Baghdad which has been devastated by a terrorist attack on October, 2010 where the cost of the project reached IQD 2, 3 billion.

Daraji said in a statement “Implementing this project sends a strong message to the terrorism that we stand side by side with our Christian brothers as they are our partners in this Country and we will not, in any way, allow Iraq’s enemies to achieve their despicable goals and disrupt our national unity.”

“The Church will look better than before,” the Minister added, stressing “The project was implemented by Fao Engineering Company associated to the Ministry.”
