MoI: (1029) foundation licenses awarded to new industrial projects in 2012

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Directorate General of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industry announced granting (1029) establishment licenses for new industrial projects during the first five months of 2012. The Director General of the ID Mohammad Aboud said “The Directorate strives to promote the private industrial sector through providing the it with necessary services,” noting that “The DGID estimated the need of the industrial projects for raw materials and fuel and submitted these estimations to the sides responsible for providing these materials during the earlier mentioned duration.” Aboud clarified “We commissioned the Directorate to follow up the implementation of the projects of the industrial cities in (Dhi Qar, Basra, Nineveh and Anbar) where IQD 13 billion have been transferred in this year to the project of industrial city in Basra province.”
