Moqtada al-Sadr threatens to intervene if no party confronted Turkish presence in Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Najaf – The cleric Moqtada al-Sadr threatened to “intervene” if any party did not address the Turkish presence on the ground in Iraq.
Sadr said during a sermon in Kufa Mosque: “Everyone knows that we fought the US occupation and its allies.”
He added, “The Turkish occupation is on the doors and there are some parties that confront them ” asserting that “the Sadrist movement is watching what these parties do; and if they failed their duty, we will intervene.”
