MoWA praises Rasheed Bank’s assistance for widows

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Woman Affairs considered launching the loans for widows by Rasheed Bank as an important step towards promoting the economic position of the Iraqi woman.

The Ministry of Woman reported in a statement to IraqiNews.com that ”The Ministry praised the step of Rasheed Bank by granting the loans for widows,” stressing that the importance of this step to “achieve the economic independence far away from the policy of assistance and grants which would not meet the need for disadvantaged groups.”

The statement called all ”The management of the Central Bank of Iraq and all the officials responsible for the economic file to create a bank specialized in assisting the Iraqi women which can meet all the needs of the women including widows employees and businesswomen.”
