Parliament resumes Tuesday session, with 243 out of its 325 members

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament’s has held its session on Tuesday afternoon, under the chairmanship of its Speaker, Osama al-Najafi and the presence of 243 out of its 325 total members, an IraqiNews.com Correspondent reported. “Today’s session shall listen to the first reading of prevension of (Iraq‘s former ruling) Baath Party and the racist activities, along with the 1st reading of the Law on Military Criminal Courts,” the speaker added. “The first reading of the Law on Freedom of Expression and the 4th adjustment law for the Law on Cancer in Iraq, the Law on Women Delivery Carriers, the Law on Iraq‘s Joining of Protocols related to the International Authority and the 1st Adjustment for Iraq‘s former ruling Revolution Command Council, No.120 of 2002,” he said.
