Parliament Speaker heads to Moscow in three-day visit

(IraqiNews.com) According to a parliamentary source, the House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri headed to the Russian capital Moscow on Monday in an official invitation, noting that the visit will last three days.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “President of the House of Representatives went, at the head of a parliamentary delegation, to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Lexie Pushkov,” noting that, ” It will be a three-day visit.”
The source added that, “Al-Jubouri will meet during the visit a number of Russian officials led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.”
It is noteworthy that the House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri received on Friday (20 March 2015) an official invitation from the President of the Russian Duma to visit Moscow, while al-Jubouri welcomed the invitation and the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
