Parliamentary Education Committee finalizes national strategic document for education

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Education Parliamentary committee announced the completion of the national strategy document for education.

The head of the Committee Adil al-Shirshab told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Monday “The national strategy for education began in 2008 and a high committee was formed to oversee this strategy which has completed on last Wednesday, July 18th the writing of this strategy and decided to submit this draft, including notes of the World Bank and international organizations, experts and professors in this aspect.”

He added that “The draft has been completed and approved by the High Commission to send it to the Council of Ministers for discussion and approval, so that it will become an official document,” noting that “This document is composed of [178] projects for education and costs IQD 52 billion to be carried out within ten years. ”
