Sadr calls “Jihadist forces” to hand over the liberated territories to security forces
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday the Shiite leader Muqtada Al-Sadr promised the mandating security ministries that he would improve the security, political and service situations, while calling for the ministries of defense and interior to keep away from any occupier and not let it take over Iraq.
Sadr said in a statement that “The step of designating the security ministries is important towards improving the security and political situation after the failure of the previous government to achieve that. This means that by a certain percentage the current government is submitted to the public interests instead of its own interests, contrary to what its predecessor accustomed us of marginalization and exclusion.”
Sadr wished that the success of reaching an agreement regarding the security ministries would lead to the liberation of the provinces seized by the militants to prove to the world the power of the Iraqi army and other security services.
Sadr demanded the entire Jihadist forces to work on the delivery of the liberated territories to the police and the army as soon as possible to serve its people and its territory without sectarian or distasteful partisan ideology.
